Alovea Retreat | October 4th - 7th 

On October 4th - 7th, Alovea is holding a corporate retreat at Bear Lake Reserve. Alovea has hosted several corporate retreats at Bear Lake Reserve in the past, and our staff has done an exceptional job keeping them and homeowners happy. During Fall, Winter, and Spring months, corporate retreats bring in extra revenue that the Lake Club and rental program otherwise would 

not receive, allowing us to continue growing and improving your overall club experience as a homeowner.

Please note that next Tuesday, October 5th, the Lake Club is closing at 3pm for a worship service at the amphitheater for Alovea.

In early October, Sarah Little, formerly the Castellan at Castle Ladyhawke, has moved on to new pastures and is opening her doggy daycare right here in Sylva - Best Day Ever Doggy Daycare.

W.N.C. Farm to Table is the business that provides local food for The Lake Club, The Wine Bar, and Ilda. Lisa has a dream to offer a fair and viable food system for Jackson County by supporting farmers and producers in W.N.C. while nurturing community networks that educate and expand the demand for local food and celebrate this area's rich culture. The owner, Lisa McBride, is starting a nonprofit to make this dream a reality.

UTV Service on Property | October 22nd

John Lefner has found a local who can service UTVs. Glenn is willing and able to come to Bear Lake on October 22nd, from 9am to 3pm, to service your UTV at the warehouse.

To get your UTV serviced, you will need to contact Glenn as soon as possible at 828-293-4128. Would you please let him know you are with Bear Lake Reserve and also include:

• Brand
• Model
• Year 
• List of what the UTV needs to have done.

He will provide all the items needed for service and let you know the estimated cost.
